Allen Miller, 84, of Shipshewana, (district: 42), died unexpectedly at home at 11:39 pm on Monday, March 11, [2024]. He was born on October 10, 1939, in New Paris, to Menno and Sarah (Burkholder) Miller. On October 28, 1958, in Arcola, IL, he married Fannie Yoder, she survives.
Survivors in addition to his wife are five sons, Ray (Debra) Miller of The Villages, FL, Duane (Rebecca) Miller of Bristol, Howard (Anna) Miller of New Paris, Richard Miller, Glenn (Sarah) Miller both of Goshen; two daughters, Wilma (Myron) Miller, Lori (Doyle) Miller both of Shipshewana; 22 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Andy (Bev) Miller of Bloomfield, IA, Lonnie Miller of Mattoon, IL, Ervin Miller of Arcola, IL, Howard Dean (Betty) Miller of Arthur, IL; two sisters, Clara Beachy of Millersburg, Betty (Eldon) Chupp of Arthur, IL; sister-in-law, Clara Miller of Arthur, IL; brother-in-law, Earl Hochstetler of Nappanee.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two great-grandchildren, Timothy and Samantha Lehman; brother, Melvin Miller; two sisters, Erma Hochstetler, Lorraine and Marvin Hochstetler; brother-in-law, Mahlon Beachy; sister-in-law, Nancy Miller.
Allen was a retired Senior Bishop in the Old Order Amish Church, having been ordained as a minister in 1969 and as a Bishop in 1982.
Visitation will be after 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 13 and all-day Thursday, March 14 at the 3650 Center, 3650 N. State Rd. 5, Shipshewana. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Friday, March 15 also at the 3650 Center. Services will be conducted by Bishop Jerry Miller and the home ministers. Burial will be in East Barren Cemetery, Shipshewana. Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury, is handling the arrangements.
Miller, Anna N. Miller
January 15, 1940 - March 12 2024
Anna N. Miller, 84, of Dalton and formerly of Benton and Berlin, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
She was born in Holmes County on January 15, 1940 to the late Noah and Saloma (Coblentz) Miller and married Adam S. Miller on January 11, 1963. He died November 8, 2019.
She was a long-time member of Faith Haven Mennonite Church near Mt. Hope.
She is survived by her children, Gloria (Glenn) Yoder of Millersburg, Luke (Jan) Miller of Dalton and Tim (Leann) Miller of Canton; 13 grandchildren, Alicia, Janelle, Javan, Amanda, Kendall, Kari, Landon, Mya, Brevon, Sabrina, Taylor, Tiffani and Chloe; a great grandchild (Kingsley).
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 infant daughters; a brother; and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 10:00 am at Faith Haven Mennonite Church, 8565 TR 635, Fredericksburg, OH (near Mt. Hope) with Pastor Jeff Geiser officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends and family may call on Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Faith Haven Mennonite Church. Arrangements are being handled by Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton.
The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers of Ohio's Hospice LifeCare for their wonderful care over the last two years.
Miller, Barbara Ann Mullet
March 27, 1949 - March 14, 2024
Barbara Ann Miller, age 74 of Nappanee, IN, died at 5:20 pm on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at her residence. She was born on March 27, 1949 in Elkhart to Albert B. and Lean (Diener) Mullet. On January 22, 1970, Barbara married Harley A. Miller in Nappanee. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2019.
Barbara was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She is survived by 9 children: Chris H. Miller of Greenville, SC, Jolene H. Miller of Osceola, IN, Danny H. Miller of Nappanee, Leroy H. (Velda) Miller of Topeka, IN, David H. (Adrienne) Miller of Greenville, SC, Melvin H. (Mabel) Miller of Nappanee, Lori Ann Miller of Nappanee, Mary Lou (Leon) Slabaugh of Arcadia, FL, and Elaine (Eli) Miller of Summers, AR; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Miller of Rochester, IN; 23 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 4 siblings: Homer (Sue Ann) Mullet of Kingston, WI, Ben (Mary Etta) Mullet of Milford, IN, Steve (Ruth) Helmuth of Nappanee, and Robert (Elaine) Mullet of Middlebury, IN.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Leon H. Miller; and a grandson, Elijay Ray Slabaugh.
Visitation will be held after 2 pm on Friday, March 15, 2024 and all day, Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the Melvin Miller Residence (8397 W 1050 N, Nappanee, IN 46550). A funeral service will take place at 9:30 am on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at the Elmer Miller residence (7655 W 1050 N, Nappanee, IN). Bishop Amos Borkholder and Home Ministries of the Old Order Amish Church will officiate. Burial will take place in Graber Cemetery, Nappanee. Arrangements are with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
Miller, Christ, Jr.
September 22, 1932 - February 21, 2024
Christ Miller Jr, 91, of 5448 Township Rd 618 Millersburg OH 44654 passed away suddenly on Wednesday morning, Feb 21, 2024 in Sarasota, FL. He was born on Sept 22, 1932 to the late Christ S and Elizabeth (Miller) Miller. On April 9, 1959 he married Betty (Miller) Miller who survives. Christ was a retired farmer and a member of the Amish Church.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Ruth (Jonas) Troyer, Roy Allen (Fannie) Miller, Firman (Mary Ellen) Miller, Mark (Betty) Miller, Naomi (David) Hershberger, Rhoda (Bryan) Miller, all of Millersburg OH, 35 grandchildren, and 41 great-grandchildren, brother John (Rebecca) Miller of Millersburg, sister Betty (late Andy) Schlabach of Sugarcreek, brother-in-law Joe Miller (late Anna) and a sister-in-law Anna, (late John) Coblentz of MO.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a granddaughter Kari Beth Miller, and brothers and sisters, Sam, Eli, Henry, Sarah, Edwin, Lydia, Anna, Katie and Frieda.
Funeral services will be held at the home on Monday, Feb 26, 2024 with Bishop Roy Hershberger Jr officiating. Burial will follow in the Fryburg Community Cemetery. Friends may call at the home after 2 PM on Saturday and anytime on Sunday.

Miller, Floyd "Fritz"
September 2, 1927 - February 3, 2024
Floyd "Fritz" Miller, Archbold, Ohio, age 96, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 3, 2024 at the Defiance In Patient Hospice center. Fritz was born on September 2, 1927 to Jonas and Matilda (Hershberger) Miller. As a young man, Fritz served in CPS in several places including Terry Montana and Florida. He married Verna Sauder on June 22,1947. They were blessed with three sons, Terry, Craig, and Merrill and three daughters, Becky, Eileen, and Elaine. As a youth, he was baptized at Central Mennonite Church, where he attended until transferring to Tedrow Mennonite Church where he was a founding member.
He enjoyed singing bass with the men's quartet at Tedrow for many years as well as with several mixed quartets, singing with the men's chorus at Central, and also singing in a family quintette with his daughters and son-in-law.
Fritz loved life and enjoyed being a jokester. He was known by children for his sounds like mooing, barking, meowing, or for his siren sound. He enjoyed yodeling and blowing on the neck of a pop bottle to make shrill sounds. He made many friends as he was on his routes delivering propane gas for Miller Gas Co. for many years.
Surviving are his six children Terry Miller and Becky (Randy) Kauffman, both of Archbold OH, Craig (Lois) Miller, Rockingham, Va, Eileen (Richard) Nyce, Florence Ky, Elaine (Brent) Winzeler, Archbold OH, and Merrill (Trish) Miller, Ridgeville, Corners, OH. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Fritz was preceded in death by his wife, Verna, his parents, Jonas and Matilda Miller, brothers Mike, Roman, Vernon, and Eli Miller and sisters Mary Leininger and Mattie Nofziger, daughter-in-law Judy Miller, granddaughter-in-law Trina Kauffman, and two great grandsons, Wesley Nyce and Zebediah Miller.
There will be a private burial service in the Pettisville Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Tedrow Mennonite Church on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 2-4 pm. A memorial service will be held at the Tedrow Mennonite Church at 4 pm following visitation. In leu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to MCC, Heifer Project, The Defiance In Patient Hospice Center, or Gideons International.
Miller, Francis Dean
June 1, 1937 - January 19, 2024
Francis Dean Miller, 86, of Goshen, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024, at Greencroft Healthcare.
He was born June 1, 1937 in Kalona, Iowa to Annas and Ursula (Swartzendruber) Miller.
On June 21, 1958 he married Marcile Kauffman in Goshen.
She survives along with three children, Donita (Chris) Bauer of Milton, Tennessee, Daryl (Tammie) Miller of Goshen and Darren Miller of Elkhart; five grandchildren, Sarah E. (Mark Ferns) Miller of Vancouver, British Columbia, Nicholas (Hailey) Miller of Grand Junction, Colorado, Megan Bauer of Sarasota, Florida, Michelle (Dustin) Blodgett of Sandy, Utah and Ryan Bauer of Cookeville, Tennessee; a great-granddaughter, Audrey Ann Blodgett and three siblings, Marcia E. Miller and Galen D. (Sue Neeb) Miller, both of Goshen and Loren E. Miller of Ohio.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Ventura.
A farmer, Mr. Miller attended Clinton Frame Church where he served as Sunday School Superintendent. He was a member of the Kiwanis Sunrisers Club and the local John Deere Tractor Club.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 30, 2024, from 3 to 6 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Clinton Frame Church. A 10 a.m. memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the church with Pastors Sebastiano Rosa and Julie Lehman officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to Bethany Christian Schools.
Miller, Joseph Alan
May 10, 2009 - March 6, 2024
Joseph Alan Miller, 14, was born to Joseph & Sylvia Beachy Miller on May 10, 2009 in Pleasantville, Tennessee. Joseph passed away on March 6, 2024 after an accidental gun shot while hunting with his dad & brothers.
Joseph Alan was a friend to everyone. He was known by his big smile and shining blue eyes. His greatest pleasure was doing activities with his family, especially hunting and fishing. He enjoyed working at home on the farm, helping his mother with gardening and the many small jobs that needed to be done around the house. He loved animals especially his dog Razor who followed him everywhere he went.
Those left to cherish the memories are his parents Joseph & Sylvia Miller, siblings Joshua & wife Cassia, Jeffrey & wife Gaffney, Kenneth & wife Kari Ann, Ethan & girlfriend Lanae Yoder, Gloria, Jesse, MaryEllen, Derrel and Bryan: one nephew, Zebulon; two nieces, Magdalena and Blakely; Grandparents, Lewis & MaryAnn Beachy and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Joe & MaryEllen Miller.
Miller, Lily Grace

Lily Grace Miller, stillborn daughter of Albert L. and Sharon O. (Miller) Miller of Middlebury (district: 58-1), was born at 12:30 pm, on Thursday, February 15, [2024] at Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville.
Surviving in addition to her parents are sisters, Mary Rose, Katie Ann, Rachel Irene, Laura Fern, Emma Leah, and Sharlene Kay; grandparents, Levi A. and Mattie J. Miller of LaGrange and Orva S. and Mary E. Miller of Middlebury.
Visitation will be after 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 17, at the family’s home residence: 10755 West 050 North Middlebury. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 18, at the same residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop Wilbur Miller and the home ministers. Burial will be in Yoder Family Cemetery, Middlebury. Miller-Stewart Funeral Home is assisting the family with making arrangements.
Miller, Mary "Pat" Knox Darling
December 4, 1937 - March 2, 2024
Mary “Pat” Darling Miller, 86, of Goshen died Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Goshen Hospital.
She was born December 4, 1937 in Gibson City, Illinois to Earl H. and Catherine L. (Ingold) Knox.
A 1955 graduate of Fisher High School, Pat received her nursing degree from Goshen College School of Nursing in 1959.
On March 24, 1962 she married Wayne E. Darling, of Elkhart County in Fisher, Illinois. He died August 28, 2010. She later married D. Richard Miller on June 30, 2012.
He survives along with her daughters, Dr. Melinda Darling of Holyoke, Massachusetts, and Michele (Terry Golob) Darling of Boston, Massachusetts; four step-children, Daniel (Nadine) Miller, and Philip (Jean) Miller, both of Goshen, David (Lori) Miller of Wichita, Kansas, and Christine M. Miller of Fort Wayne; four step grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren.
Also surviving is a sister, Amanda Osborn of Sebring, Florida, and a sister-in-law, Marta Knox of Paxton, Illinois.
Along with her parents and first husband, Wayne, she was preceded in death by a brother, Earl H. Knox, Jr.
A life-long healthcare worker, Mrs. Miller worked in the office of Dr. M.H. Kesim for 21 years prior to the doctor’s retirement. She continued working at Bristol Street Pediatrics until her retirement in 1998.
A former member of First Baptist Church of Elkhart, Mary was currently active at Berkey Avenue Mennonite Fellowship, Goshen.
Visitation will be Friday, March 8, from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.
There will also be one hour of visitation beginning at 9 a.m. prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service, Saturday, March 9 at Berkey Avenue Mennonite Fellowship, 2509 Berkey Ave., Goshen.
Burial will be in East Bend Mennonite Cemetery, Fisher, Illinois at a later date.
Memorial gifts may be directed to 4-H Foundation of Elkhart County; First Baptist Church of Elkhart; Cystic Fibrosis Foundation; or Berkey Avenue Mennonite Fellowship.
Miller, Orpha Hostetler
June 20, 1933 - March 30, 2024
Orpha Miller, 90, formerly of Shipshewana (district: 41-4), died on Saturday, March 30, [2024] at her daughter's home in Arcola, IL, where she had lived since 2019. She was born on June 20, 1933, in LaGrange County, to Mahlon D. and Lizzie D. (Schrock) Hostetler. On January 29, 1953, in Shipshewana, she married Henry A. Miller, he died January 12, 1994.
Surviving are son, Richard Miller of Middlebury; six daughters, Etta Miller of Goshen, Vera (Ken) Mullet of Nappanee, Betsy Miller of Goshen, Velda Miller of Topeka, Sue (Lonnie) Coblentz of Middlebury, Mary (Elvin) Schrock of Arcola, IL; 21 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lizzia Ann Lehman of Goshen, Leah Fern Hostetler of Shipshewana; brother, LaVern Hostetler of Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two grandsons, Devon and David Miller; three brothers, Eldon, David, and Daniel Hostetler; six sisters, Ida Frey, Anna Miller, Nina Hostetler, Mary Etta Eash, Mabel Mast, and Freida Raber.
Orpha was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church. Her hobbies included gardening and quilting. She also enjoyed working at the Flea Market Restaurant in Shipshewana for 30 plus years.
There will be visitation from 1:00 - 7:30 pm on Monday, April 1 at the HCK Building in Arthur, IL. There will also be visitation after 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 3 at the Roy Schlabach residence, 7720 W. 200 N., Shipshewana. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Thursday, April 4 at the same residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop Menno F. Lambright and the home ministers. Burial will be in East Barren Cemetery, Shipshewana.
Miller, Rachel Fern Miller
October 21, 1955 - March 25, 2024
Rachel Fern Miller 68, of rural Arthur, Illinois passed away at 11:06 AM on Monday, March 25, 2024, at her residence.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the Sunnyside Mennonite Church, rural Arcola, Illinois. Rev. Larry Rocke and Pastor Luke Goss will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sunnyside Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Visitations will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the Sunnyside Mennonite Church. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Rachel was born on October 21, 1955 in Tuscola, Illinois, a daughter of Ben A. and Barbara S. (Otto) Miller. She married Merle E. Miller on October 23, 1975 at her home in Douglas County.
She is survived by her husband, Merle Miller of Arthur, IL; three daughters, Linda Jo Schrock and her husband Delmar of Tuscola IL; twin daughters, Lanora Faye Gingerich and her husband Joe of Arthur IL and Lyndora Mae Miller and her husband Kevin of Arthur IL; six grandchildren, Regina Gregory and her husband Seth of Duluth MN, Michelle Schrock, Taylor Miller, Olivia Gingerich, Amber Gingerich, and Jordan Gingerich; one brother, Willard Miller and his wife Katie of Arthur IL; a sister-in-law, Verna Kay Miller of Arthur IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Barbara Miller, one grandson, Cameron Schrock, and one brother, Gary Dale Miller.
Rachel was a member of the Sunnyside Mennonite Church in rural Arcola, Illinois.
Rachel worked at Yoders Kitchen as a hostess for many years. She was known for her kind and welcoming personality, always ready with a smile. Rachel prioritized her faith and family above all else.
Rachel had a variety of hobbies. She loved gardening, sewing, crocheting, and watching birds in nature. Her passion for baking and working in the kitchen shone through every dish she made, especially her famous caramels.
One of Rachel’s favorite times was spending time with her grandchildren whom she adored. She also cherished her friends and family deeply, and her beloved fur baby, Lilly.
Memorials may be made to the Sunnyside Mennonite Church.
Miller, Ryan David
September 28, 2005 - February 26, 2024
Ryan David Miller, son of Jeremy and Rose Miller was born September 28, 2005 in St. Ignatius, Montana. He peacefully passed away at home the evening of February 26, 2024 in Grangeville, Idaho at the age of 18 years and almost 5 months.
He loved gardening and especially liked flowers and succulents. He really enjoyed singing and spending time with the family. In August of 2021 he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. He soon committed his life to the Lord Jesus Christ and was baptized into the Church of Clearwater Christian Fellowship. After a valiant 2.5-year battle with cancer, God saw fit to take him home and we rejoice to know he is perfectly healed at last!
Left behind to miss him are his parents; Jeremy and Rose, 4 sisters and 1 brother; Amy Yvonne, Jared Matthew, Janeva Grace, Melody Joy and Harmony Jewel. Also, maternal grandparents, Glen and Pollyanna Hochstetler, paternal grandparents Steve and Cora Miller and host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation will be held Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Church of Clearwater Christian Fellowship from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held Friday, March 1, 2024 at Grangeville Christian Church at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery, Grangeville. Arrangements are under the direction of the Blackmer Funeral Home, Grangeville.
Miller, Thomas E.
September 29, 1953 - January 28, 2024
Thomas E. Miller, age 70, of Christiana, PA, entered into the presence of Jesus Christ his Savior on Sunday, January 28, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Janice L. Miller Miller for 2.5 years and the late Gloria M. Lapp Miller for 43 years.
He was born in Charlottesville, VA, son of the late Urie and Lena Miller. He was an active member of Nickel Mines Mennonite Church for over 40 years. He was employed by Green Tree Structures and also provided transportation for the Amish community. Previously, he worked for New Enterprise Stone and Lime for 31 years. Tom was a social person and people were very important to him. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and strived to live as a Christian example to them. He also enjoyed reading, traveling, and e-biking. He served with many outreach ministries and on mission boards through the years.
Surviving besides his wife are 4 children: Garry L. husband of Rachel Groff Miller of Manheim, T. Derrell husband of Arlyn Bristol Miller of Leola, Sherri L. wife of Kenton Yoder of Mt. Juliet, TN, Lorraine E. wife of Harlan Roggie of Lowville, NY, 19 grandchildren, 2 siblings: Melvin husband of Lavina Stoltzfus Miller of Staunton, VA, Mary Ellen wife of Ervin Wagler of Huttonsville, WV. He was preceded in death by a grandson Brady Yoder.

A Funeral Service will take place at the Mine Road Amish Mennonite Church, 5101 Mine Road, Paradise, on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Pastors Raymond Burkholder and Landis Weaver, Jr. There will be a viewing at the church on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Interment will be in the Nickel Mines Mennonite Cemetery. Moyers, Harold David "H.D.", Jr.
February 13, 1952 - March 23, 2024
Harold David “H.D.” Moyers Jr., 72, a resident of Linville, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024.
Mr. Moyers was born Feb. 13, 1952, in Rockingham County and was a son of Willie Virginia Carr Moyers of Linville and the late Harold David Moyers Sr.
He was raised in the Linville community and loved working on his farm, playing solitaire and spending time with his grandchildren. He worked at Walker Manufacturing for 47 years and attended Zion Hill Mennonite Church.
On Oct. 13, 2001, he married Beverly Diane Crawford Moyers, who survives.
Also surviving are his children, Darin Moyers of Linville, Karina Showalter and husband, James, of Rockingham, Eugene Moyers and wife, Sarah, of Fulks Run; brother, Kenneth Moyers and wife, Brenda, of Singers Glen; and grandchildren, Dixie and Timber Moyers.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Erma Louise Crider Moyers, who passed away March 31, 1999.
Robert Wenger and Lowell Haarer will conduct a funeral service Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Zion Hill Mennonite Church. Burial will follow at Elk Run Cemetery in Elkton.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 26, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at McMullen Funeral Home.

Mullet, Sharon J. Stutzman
October 7, 1948 - January 21, 2024
Sharon J. Mullet, 75, of Berlin, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Aultman Hospital in Canton following a brief illness. She was born in Holmes County on October 7, 1948 to the late Roman and Evelyn (Mast) Stutzman and married Thomas O. Mullet on June 26, 1971. He survives.
She is retired from East Holmes Schools where she worked as a kindergarten teacher and attended Berlin Mennonite Church. Family was very important to her and she followed her grandchildren with all their school activities and sporting events.
In addition to her husband Tom, she is survived by her children, Sheila (Scott Bodiker) Mullet of Berlin, Mike (Megan) Mullet of Winesburg, and Debra (Chris Dages) Mullet of Berlin; 9 grandchildren, Kate Bodiker, Zeke Bodiker, Luke Bodiker, John Dages, Elias Mullet, Madison Mullet, June Dages, Emma Mullet, and Nolan Dages; and siblings, Joann (Clifford) Kandel of Benton, Ward (Judy) Stutzman and Dale (Cynthia) Stutzman both of Berlin and Carol (Rodney) Miller of Walnut Creek.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 11 AM at Berlin Mennonite Church with Pastor Jeff Hochstetler officiating. Private Burial will be in Berlin Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Church. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
Mumaw, Wilmer "Lloyd"
June 9, 1946 - March 19, 2024
Wilmer "Lloyd" Mumaw passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2024 in his home farm.
Lloyd was born in Massillon on June 9, 1946, to Stanford and Lavinia Mumaw. He married Ferne (Steckle) Mumaw on July 21, 1973. She survives.
Lloyd graduated from Central Christian High School, Hesston College, and Goshen College.
After teaching physical education and coaching basketball at Rosthern Jr. College, he and Ferne moved back to Ohio to farm. In recent years he was active in Farm Bureau and hauled lumber for DRYCO. He volunteered at CAMO, MCC Connections, Relief Canning, and Growing Hope Globally.
Surviving are children Heidi (Brian) Frye and Brad (Kim) Mumaw and grandchildren Ian, Scott and Connor Frye, Braden Mumaw, Ava, Sydney and Makenna Bracken and siblings Maxine (Leroy) Yoder, Elsie Maiwurm, Luci (Norm) Shank and Loretta (Roger) Baur. Both his parents and an infant brother are deceased.
Calling hours will be held from 12:00 to 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Martin’s Mennonite Church, Orrville, 14027 Church Road, Orrville. A memorial service will follow at the church at 3:30 pm.
Burial of ashes we be at Martin's Cemetery at a later date.

Musser, Edith I. Weaver
July 12, 1940 - March 26, 2024
Edith I. (Weaver) Musser, 83, of Newmanstown, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at her home. She was the wife of Earl Z. Musser. Born in East Earl on July 12, 1940, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Edna N. (Martin) Weaver. Edith was a member of the Richland Mennonite Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons Earl Z., Jr., and his wife Charlene Musser of Newmanstown, Gerald R. and his wife Sharon Musser of Myerstown and Jason T. and his wife Linette Musser of Newmanstown; daughter Janet L. wife of Kenneth Zimmerman of Belle Rive, IL; brother John H. (Martha) Weaver of Denver and Edwin M. husband of the late Sandra Weaver of Denver; sister Arlene F. wife of Clarence Martin of Ephrata; 25 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sons Larry L. and Jeffrey L. Musser; daughter Gloria J. Hollinger, late wife of Anthony (Erika) Hollinger of Lititz; brother Lloyd M., late husband of Minerva Weaver and sisters Anna Mary late wife of Mervin Rutt and Erma Weaver.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at the Richland Mennonite Church. A viewing will be held at the church on Monday from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service in the adjoining church cemetery.
Myer, Martha E. Herr
September 18, 1936 - March 25, 2024
Martha E. Myer, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, age 87, passed peacefully from her home in Cocolamus, PA into the arms of Jesus on March 25, 2024. Martha was born on September 18, 1936, and grew up on a farm in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania during a time when life was much quieter, and simpler. That culture paved the way for how she lived her life, in a quiet and simple way.
In the challenges that life brought to her, she always chose to trust her savior, Jesus Christ. This was even true of the last challenge that she faced, sickness and death. Her testimony was one of trusting Jesus for his timing, while basking in the love and peace that He was giving her in the transition from this life to being with Him. She was an inspiration to many in her life, not only her children and grandchildren, but that inspiration spilled out to friends, neighbors, and many others. No one ever doubted her love for God, and those she loved, never doubted that her love was genuine.
Martha is predeceased by her parents, Frank and Mary (Harnish) Herr, 4 sisters, Mary Catherine Wenger (Merv), Grace Graybill (Paul), Lois Lowe (Elmer), Patricia Eby (Bob), and brother Harold, daughter-in-law, Betty Myer, and infant grandson, Curtis Gerber. She is survived by her husband, Wilmer, of nearly 68 years, 8 children, Glenn (Dianne) Myer, Judy (Abe) Krahn, Karen (Terry) Gerber, David (Laurie) Myer, Mark (Lois) Myer, Nathan (Sandee) Myer, Mariellen (Brent) Rosenberry, and Jesse (Carol) Myer, 36 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, sister Miriam Kreider, and brothers, Donald Herr, Robert (Bob) Herr, and Jay Miller.

Myers, Naomi Ruth Shoemaker
December 4, 1932 - March 31, 2024
Naomi Ruth Shoemaker Myers, passed away on Easter Day, March 31, 2024, at the age of 91.
She was a former teacher at Bank Mennonite Christian Day School from 1956-1959. She then taught at Plumstead Christian School near Plumsteadville, Pa. until 1962. Later in life once her children were nearly grown, she worked as a proofreader at Christian Light Publications for nearly 30 years until her retirement at the age of 80.
In the summer of 1962, she married Wilmer L. Myers, who survives and resides at Skyline Terrace Nursing Home. They were blessed with three sons, Paul Myers (Gemma), James Myers, and Titus Myers (Renee); three daughters, Mary Rae, Joanna Myers, and Rachel Babkirk (Jason). In addition to her spouse and children, she is survived by one sister, Alda Knupp; two brothers, Leonard Shoemaker and Matthew Shoemaker (Catherine); grandchildren, Justin Myers (Elisa), Jesse Myers, Hannah Bowler (Gunnar), Melissa Davis (Michael), Lindsey Phillips (Jordan), Kiya Babkirk, and Jade Babkirk; great-grandchildren, Jireh Myers, Rapha Myers, Benjamin Bowler, Neveah Phillips, and Bentley Phillips.
Naomi was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Shoemaker; her mother, Mary Lam Shoemaker; two siblings, Audra Whetzel and Eugene Shoemaker; two brothers-in-law, Charles Knupp, Ashby Whetzel; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie Shoemaker and Nancy Shoemaker.
Naomi cherished her friends and family, including her church family at Bethel Mennonite Church, where she was a life-long member. She loved and served the Lord Jesus Christ. She enjoyed singing and traveled to Central America in a choir in her youth. She was fond of the Runions Creek community, and the mountains where she grew up listening to the Whippoorwills. She loved birds, trees, and creeks. She enjoyed reading, journaling, creative writing, and crocheting. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
Pastors Steve Estep, Dale Brubaker, and Millard Sonifrank will conduct a funeral service 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Bethel Mennonite Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.Thursday at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
